What do I need to log in?
While anyone can view the Tests & Fees and videos without logging in, users will need to use their VetView Portal username and password to view accessions and receive push notifications. KSVDL clients can create a VetView portal username and account by registering online. Click here to register.
What are the green and yellow bars beside my accessions?
The bar colors indicate the status of your submission.
- Green indicates the submission has been received, but testing has not started.
- Yellow indicates the submission is in working status.
- No color indicates that the submission has been finalized.
How do I change my notifications?
Tap to open the menu in the purple header at the top.
By default you will receive notifications when samples are accessioned in the lab and when Final test results are available. You can also opt in to receive notifications for individual/preliminary test results.
* Additional settings may also be available depending on your device.
Apple iOS has a Settings app that allows users to manage notifications for each app including turning sounds off/on, selecting push notifications as alerts/banners/off, or turning notifications off completely.
Android users can also make selections regarding sounds and notifications depending on their device and variations in the Android operating systems.
Why am I NOT getting notifications?
Notifications are sent every 30 minutes when the lab is open for business.
Other possible causes may include:
- The user has logged out or may have been logged out
- Notifications may be disabled in the app settings
- Notifications may be disabled from the device settings
How do I order new tests?
As you look at the accession status page, all new (green bar) and working (yellow bar) status items have a button to allow you to add tests.
Just click on the button and you’ll be taken to a form where you can add your current phone number, e-mail, the test name and any relevant notes.
When you click the button at the bottom of the form, you’ll be taken to your e-mail where a message with the information you provided will be sent to Client Care.
As always, you are welcome to call Client Care if you have any questions or want to discuss any additional tests.
How do I send the results to clients?
As you’re viewing the PDF file of your results, you can click on the menu icon near the top of your screen. Depending on your device and the other supporting apps you have installed, it should show some option to send file, open your e-mail, save the file to your device, or other options.

How do I send the results with/without the summary of charges?
The PDF results shown from KSVDL Mobile do not include the summary of charges. If you prefer to send test results that do include charges, you will need to download those PDF reports from the VetView portal on the web using your computer or mobile web browser; not the KSVDL Mobile app.
How long are the results saved to my mobile device?
Test result data is not stored on your mobile device. All previous test results are stored on in the VetView database. The KSVDL Mobile app accesses those results each time you open the app.
By default, the iPad/iPhone version of the app downloads the 30 most recent accessions. As you scroll down, additional accessions will be downloaded going back as far as 12 months.
On Android devices, the 100 most recent accessions are downloaded to your when you open the Accession Status screen. Additional accessions for the past 12 months can be accessed using the search feature looking by owner name, reference number, or other fields.
