Identifying Ticks

Recently, a tick species that has never previously established a population in the US has been found in four states: Arkansas, New Jersey, Virginia, and West Virginia. It has not been found in Kansas or anywhere in the Midwest. The name of this insect is the Longhorned tick. The other ticks below are commonly found in Kansas.
