KSVDL Personnel Activities

Presentations and publications:

  • Dr. Susan Moore served on the Antimicrobial Drugs Advisory Committee at the FDA which met in Silver Spring, MD.

  • Drs. Kelli Almes, Giselle Cino, Jamie Henningson, and Lalitha Peddireddi participated in an African Swine Fever table top exercise in Manhattan, KS.

  • Dr. Gregg Hanzlicek presented “A Summary of Stillborn and Weak Calf Cases from 2019” at the Beef Cattle and Forage Field Day in Parsons, KS.

  • Dr. Kelli Almes demonstrated a necropsy for Center for Advanced Professional Studies students from Blue Valley.

  • Dr. Susan Moore published “Rabies: Current Preventive Strategies” in the Veterinary Clinics of North America, Volume 49, Issue 4, July 2019, pages 629-641.

  • Dr. Gregg Hanzlicek presented “Current Issues in Beef Cattle Health” at the 33rdAnnual Animal Health Day in Independence, KS.KSVDL, in cooperation with the Kansas Department of Animal Health and the United States Department of Agriculture, certified 40 KSU-CVM fourth year students for Trichomoniasis testing.
