Bovine Abortion Tissue PCR Panel

KSVDL is offering a fetal tissue abortion panel that includes:

    • Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR)
    • Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD) type 1 and 2
    • Leptospira serovars (L. canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo, L. icterohaemorrhagiae, L. pomona
    • Neospora caninum

Sample: 1 gm each, fresh tissues that include: liver, kidney, skeletal muscle, spleen, lung, placenta

Bovine Abortion Serology Panel

KSVDL is offering a diagnostic panel that is designed to test dams which have aborted.
Pathogens included in the panel are:

    • Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR)
    • Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD) type 1 and 2
    • Leptospira serovars (L. canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo, L. icterohaemorrhagiae, L. pomona)
    • Neospora caninum
    • Brucella abortus

Results reported as titers: IBR, BVD, Lepto
Results reported as positive or negative, with S/P ratios: Neospora
Results reported as positive or negative: Brucella

Sample: 2-3 ml serum (red top) or preservative-free tube
